"WEIRD STUFF" Finds A New Home.

My dear Readers,

I have made a discovery. These "Weird Stuff" posts have seemed to take on a life of their own. In, fact, they are threatening to take over this blog. I cannot let that happen!

So...

I will now be posting those in a new blog, WEIRD STUFF FROM ALL OVER, located at http://maiweirdstuff.blogspot.com/.Not to worry. I will announce here when I post a new Weirding. In fact, I think I will announce it thus: WEIRD STUFF ALERT! It will, of course, contain a link to the new post. Here is your first: WEIRD STUFF ALERT! The Queen of Hearts Screams

I will be moving all the WEIRD STUFF posts to the new blog eventually. I am lazy, so I will also leave them here. The new blog is still under construction. I am looking for the perfect header picture. Any suggestions? (Keep it clean and legal, please.)I have actually put together a sort of compilation of stuff for a header pic, but that is just temporary. Suggestions, please!

Now, just because I love you, my faithful readers, I give you a special bonus, with special thanks to KESS (you know who you are!) It's called Paint Your Cat. Go take a look. You won't be disappointed. Grossed out maybe, horrified if you're in PETA, bur definitely not disappointed. By the way, my niece who is a graphic artist and something of a photoshop expert, assures me these pictures are genuine, not fake.

in reference to your comment today: my heart literally hurt, literally, when i read about Lilly. that can't be!! that's such awful, awful news. she's more of an angel than ever now. she must have left a massive hole in your life. am sending you a big hug on the ether to help you out. maybe Lilly is working on sending some help your way healthwise...? If anyone can....

  2. Eleanor ji - You might take a look at the temporary header I put up...

I'm really not quite ready to write about Lilly. I'll only say that she died as she lived, quietly, gently, without drawing attention to herself. Perhaps I'll write soon. I'm sure wherever she is, she's fine. Strength is sometimes disguised as gentleness. "The softest thing in the universe overcomes the hardest."(Tao Te Ching) The eagle is lonely without the dove.

I think I forget to send my compassion for the loss of your friend...

    **big, big, big hug back**
